After leaving Austin, TX we headed southeast towards Galveston. Along the way we stopped at another Harvest Host - VegOut! Farms in Pattison, TX. The owners Jeff and Brenda Koch were very friendly and made us feel right at home. They are not only extremely sociable, but also quite accomplished and hardworking - they only have a couple of part-time workers to help them! We loved the general store and outdoor dining patio. Our favorite was Brenda’s homemade pizza - it was excellent, not to mention the jumbo cinnamon rolls the next morning! VegOut! Farm has 21 acres of hydroponic greenhouses and produce a large variety of vegetables, including supplying all the HEB grocery stores in Texas with Butter Lettuce
